Not sure where or how the 39" x 59" size comes into play - the apron I received wasn't a size to match one of these numbers matched. The front panel was 10 inches wide. The top of the "skirt" portion of the apron was barely 30 inches long at the waist and wider at the bottom. Definitely not for overweight people, especially not for people with large bust sizes. I cut off the cross straps where they connected to the belt and just tied them behind the neck. At 31 inches, criss-cross straps are unlikely to fit comfortably when clipped at the waist. Overall it's sturdy with my little deconstruction, seems like it's very durable otherwise. I love bags!
