Ford f-150 ecoboost fork and roller problem fixed

I was towing a large trailer in a strong headwind at highway speeds when the check engine light came on and the engine started missing. Hobbled off the freeway to a mechanic who found a broken coil. Change the coil and go. 10 km on the highway and the same. Luckily the dealer was right next to the next exit. They also diagnosed the same cylinder with a faulty coil. I asked to pull out the candle and check it too. I stood there as they pulled it out and we all said wow at the same time. The fork showed serious tracking. Not sure what caused it, but the dealer charged me about $15 for a plug. When I got home I ordered them and replaced the remaining 5. Simple process and I noticed the truck ran better afterwards. I've since heard that many dealers recommend changing the EcoBoost plugs every 30,000 or 40,000 miles. They are marked with the same numbers and markings as the ones that came out of my truck. Like all plugs these days, they come pre-terminated, so just take them out of the box and install them.
