I don't quite understand why this appliance has such a high rating. It looks like $40 of the money I spent went into the design and the remaining $5 went into actual functionality. In short, it doesn't work. This might be the worst way to cook hot dogs. As other customers have pointed out, if you don't flip them, and if we're being honest, the corners of the bun will turn black and the hot dog itself will be undercooked on top. This is a machine designed to make hot dogs, no detours needed! Additionally, despite being a dedicated hot dog maker, it is MASSIVE and WILL NOT work with large hot dogs. Quarter pound dogs? No, too thick to fit in the mount. long dogs? No, not fully baked on both sides. The only positive thing I can say about it is that it looks good on the counter. However, this does not work. I don't recommend anyone to buy this.
