Able to hold a 10 pound chicken without even thinking it might fail. Could fit more but this is the largest I've had. Used for smoking chickens. When we first used it, we didn't pour any liquid. The second time we poured water. Not much difference, both were wet. We should try herbal water, apple juice or wine for taste. I know it's a 'beer' can, but we don't like beer, so we've got nothing to use. I'm taking off a star because it's not easy to clean. It can be washed in the dishwasher, but the smoking process will bake some drips in there very hard and will stay there after being washed in the dishwasher. So you have to clean it manually.
