I bought this for a secondary handbrake (not for traction) and a TH8 TM front derailleur. The derailleur plate is designed to attach to the TM handbrake, not the clamp itself, which disappointed me. I was able to design and attach the clamp using the L brackets, which was easy enough, but be aware that unless you buy a 400 handbrake, the installation won't be that easy.
