Review on WS C422 SAGE 10G Motherboard by Edris Holwell

The motherboard is excellent and offers the same overclocking features as ASUS gaming options (the bios looks almost identical except it's blue instead of red). Mentioned caveats: The fan headers are positioned slightly differently than other ASUS boards, so you may need to route your cables differently. .There is a power connector to provide power to the PCIe slots that uses a connector that most desktop/gaming PSUs don't have. This power connection can be ignored without any negative consequences. (If you look at the picture of the motherboard you can see if between the first PCIe slot and the CPU socket next to the I/O ports. The PCIe slots are not all x16. Just grey. (Slots 1, 3, 5, 7 ) Black Only (2,4 ,6) x8 Overall I really like this motherboard, with 7 full length x16 slots (although 3 x8) it's very handy when trying to use different cards with different to use connections.
