The average daily temperature for Chrome and basic office/work/study tasks is around 45 degrees Celsius with AIO. Far Cry's highest gaming temperature so far was 5-72 degrees Celsius. Will it hit 90 degrees with Cinebench? Maybe, but I can't break 87, and what's the difference, you bought an 8-core processor to sit around and play cinebench all day or you bought it to play and do math? 5800x and definitely beats the Zen 2 series, although there is by no means a day/night difference. The 3600s through to the 3900xt are still great chips in their own right, especially when gaming from 1440p to 4K where Zen 3 is minimal on paper. However, in a modern build I feel like the 5800x makes everything else run a little faster and better. If you can get one, get it. Absolutely don't be afraid because "it's hot" because it's just not true. It runs within 5 degrees of my old 3700x in almost all daily use cases, which is almost always below 75 degrees. My build: 5800x/B550/RTX-3070/64GB 3600MHz/M.2 x 2/650W Platinum PSU/H100i AIO
