Bought 2 of these, one for my son and one for me to play together. Thought as long as they work we're fine. He reports that he hears and understands me, but I am always accompanied by a loud beep in the background as speech. I can hear it fairly clearly, although there's a constant hiss once I connect it to chat. My mic doesn't pick up very well, so I have to hold the mic right up to my lips and speak loudly to be heard the whole time. How do they work? For a minute I guess until we can spend real money on real headphones. But it doesn't seem to be either.
