The problem with this device is that the results are inconsistent and mostly result in weak espresso. Specifically, about 1 time out of 10, the outcome is good, other times weak. It's not clear why, but I suspect that it is mainly because the capsules cannot hold sufficient coffee. Sometimes, somehow the results are good, but who really has time to perform endless structured tests to find out why. Not me.and probably not most people.Now due the good news. They are well built and easy to clean.and every now and then the results are OK. Never as good as regular pods, but OK. So that is ok.Not really sure what the brush is for, but it is not helpful to clean the pods after brew. The coffee is compressed in the pods. The brush is soft. A better tool, which I purchased, would be a metal snuff spoon, so the compressed coffee can be picked out.So yes, I would recommend these, but with the caveat that they are just OK. I will continue using them and maybe after a few thousand brews I will find the exact usage process to yield better results.Good luck
