No questions. this idea works. It doesn't add horsepower. It doesn't add any torque. This makes throttle response faster. The packaging is a little wrinkled around the edges, but that doesn't matter. I quickly installed it on my 2014 4Runner and found that the documentation said it worked on my wife's Highlander as well. Haven't tested it on a Highlander yet. The 14 4Runner's throttle response is so flat and sticky for the first 60% until something real happens. I started at City Zero. I liked it. Tried City +1. I want it too. sports zero. TO TO Soon. The Sport+ didn't even bother because the Sport was such overkill. Eco Zero: Super dead and slow, just like the warning said. Setting up Bluetooth was the longest task during installation. After launching the app, I simply hid the wiring and box under the dash, out of sight. Setting up the changes took several minutes to play around with the application. I will omit it if others can drive. I find a city setting of 0 or +1 best. There are many snake oil warnings for these types of products. I found that most of the claims made by buyers on social media were true: It fixes the non-linear throttle response curve everyone suspects the manufacturer programmed into cars to get maximum fuel economy out of the engine. Town for fifteen minutes and found that right turns and acceleration in traffic were much quicker, and I look forward to testing freeway downshifts for passing/merging. Pricing is always a matter of subjective opinion. I don't really feel like this is a $300 mod but the product and app work so well. easier installation. This is one of the most efficient mods I have ever invested in and I feel it will retain its value if resold or if I decide to hook it up to another compatible Toyota I own. Please do not install this and just turn it into Sport+ mode and back out of the garage. Check out the city settings below and you'll love them. Unless you're a racer preparing to wrap your car around a pole.
