This keyboard case looks well made and keeps the Ras Pi safe. Unlike some other reviewers, I found the instructions for the fan to be pretty clear and it stays in place for me. The design is reminiscent of the Commodore 64, which is pretty funny. That is a good thing. This is not good. The keyboard is battery operated and you will need a screwdriver to open the bottom and change the batteries. Since it's battery operated, it has an on/off switch that's also hidden under a hard-to-remove plastic tab. It's really just a regular battery-powered wireless keyboard with a USB dongle attached to this case. Really nothing special. If you want to access the Pi's SD card, you have to open ANOTHER plastic cover with stubborn tabs. For the short time I had, I just ditched the keyboard and SD card switch covers. And after all that, remember that if you're emulating Amiga or C-64 or whatever, this is NOT THE keyboard. They do not hide this fact in the listing at all, but think about it. This means that all the keyboard overlays you have for different games will not work. That means the keycaps don't match, and that means there's no number pad for the Amiga emulation (which some games and WHDL installs use). Anyway, while the list is clear and to the point, this case isn't worth $50 to me when used in real life. Yes, it all works, but there are too many compromises. I feel better with the standard case with the mouse and keyboard attached. I return mine.
