I bought these to use with a 5V 4A power adapter so I can use it for two tasks at the same time. I typically use it to power an SBC, but often add adapters (mini-USB, micro-USB, USB-C, and USB-A) to charge multiple devices. This allows me to either run the SBC and charge one cell at the same time, or not use the SBC and charge two cells at the same time. Use with MiSTer FPGA setup. When adding an optional USB board, two 5.1mm x 2.1mm 5V DC plugs are required. This gave me the opportunity to use the second one in the pack. My USB add-on board came with a similar 1-to-2 adapter, but it's at least twice the length of this one and I didn't like the extra cable. So far everything works 100%. Would I buy them again? i just did it
