Due to time constraints, I made the purchase without first listening. Since I was looking to save money while improving my health, I highlighted the product's name and price tag right away. I checked on my phone, computer, and tablet (all from the same brand), and they all confirmed the same thing: the bass is extremely weak, and what I didn't like was the soundproofing; everything could be heard from a mile away. Overall, the sound quality is fine, but that bass! The bass in my $300 headphones is three times as loud as it is in these $950 ones. This is really unexpected of Sony. It was returned to the shop by me.
