Cabin Air Filter ACDelco CF140

I've been running my '05 Bonneville without a cabin air filter for 2 years now. I really don't think they're "necessary" since cars these days don't even come out of the factory with them. I posted on a forum about how I smell "musty" when I turn on the AC and a member suggested checking the cabin air filter. Well, I went to check and there wasn't one, not even a staple. So to calm my OCD I looked for a mount/filter. I didn't have to look far to find this at Revain. It's perfect for the space it was made for! The delivery was very fast (I ordered at 10pm and received the next day by 12pm). The installation took me no longer than 5 minutes. As one reviewer mentioned, it fitted well initially, but with a little effort it went right in. Make sure you slide it back far enough for the small pin on the left side of the bracket to fit in the locking hole to hold it in place. on site. I don't think it will move much if you don't, but I believe if you don't push it back far enough it won't sit in the exact position to work properly. With that being said, my OCD feels better, hopefully my car isn't as dusty inside and smells a little better. After installation I sprayed some "air freshener" on my filter to give my car a very nice smell inside! I definitely recommend this filter to everyone.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
