I bought this mainly for guidance but as you are paying for the whole set I will cover all the parts. Manual: Arrived in a clamshell with perforations on the back. open it. That does not work. I learned a long time ago to only use heavy duty scissors on cribs. I initially found it difficult to hold the chisel in place as one side of the jaws was curved and the groove on either side is too thin, but with a bit of dexterity it can be set. There are embossings on the side that say your bit has to stick out that many millimeters to get that angle. I didn't test it with a pressure gauge, but it was definitely close. Use a large flathead screwdriver to really turn the nut, you just won't be able to finger tighten it enough. Still, there may be hesitation. Leave nothing to chance and triple check alignment, fit and tension. The wheel rolls easily and the threads on the clamp give a secure grip Stone: mine was nice and even, but the line between the two grains was wavy and uneven Oil: thin and clear, as it should be what you're paying for, but it not bad. It's a lot cheaper than many others and has helped me cut down on the time I spend sharpening and finishing my tools.
