I bought this for my first gen Xbox One (2013) and it does wonders for my game load times. *Note* I purchased Inateck 2.5 to connect to my Xbox. For example, the loading time from clicking the game menu to entering the game varies from game to game, but I saved an average of 30 seconds to 1 minute or more. My understanding is that the time saved on a new version of a console like the Xbox One X might not be that significant. Also, I should note that I had to take some unexpected steps to force Windows 10 and eventually my Xbox One to recognize the drive. I've had the same problem on two separate occasions, so I'm thinking it might be the drive. If you have the same problem, search YouTube for a video titled "Windows 10 - How to activate new hard drives and SSDs not showing up". Went like clockwork.
