Good speed, good quality. So far, so good.

Just installed on a Samsung 970 Pro 512GB and the read and write speeds on my mid 2015 MacBook Pro are much faster. Increased write speed from approx. 700 MB/s to 2200 MB/s. The fact that the read and write speeds are the same leads me to suspect that there is a speed limit when using this adapter, however the speeds are faster than some of the other brands tested. Interestingly, the same Samsung 970 Pro worked on my PC at about the same write speed but read much faster. An OWC SSD without an adapter might be faster, but I prefer Samsung SSDs and they're fast enough for what I do.
