My 8 chickens laid slower for a few months. It's fine in the winter, but they slowed down a lot more than usual. I turned on a heat lamp to add heat and extra "daylight", gave them extra oyster shells in their food (which is already high in protein and oyster shells), added some apple cider vinegar to their water, sprinkled them and their chicken with diatomaceous earth picking, putting some fake eggs in their bird feeders until they are red and encouraging them to lay, etc. Nothing seemed to work. They were fully feathered and healthy. I ordered it after reading the reviews and I'm so glad I did! A few days after putting it in her food and now balls are coming out of my ears! I've been using it for about two months now and can't say enough good things about it. I used the full recommended amount to get her laying and have only sprinkled it over her feed since.
