This backpack is very effective for hiking and other day activities when carrying a camera in a backpack is better than wearing it around your neck. in a quick access pouch - looks pretty decent/high quality - has 2 straps, one for the main shoulder and the other stretches across the body to attach to the main strap (for stability) Cons: - if you are setting up a real tripod (not a monopod or something) on a backpack becomes quite uncomfortable and awkward to carry. After all, I always carry a tripod instead of attaching it to my backpack. I have a battery on my dlsr so I have to rotate the camera vertically in a quick access pouch. Actually not even a minus, just a bit uncomfortable. All this to say that I will still buy this pack again. This is a great deal for the money (bought for $31).
