If I could give a minus star, I would give it 5 minus stars. I've been using the old version of this multi cooker for 4 years and it works great never had a problem. We replaced it with this new version because the old one had a lot of scratches on the bottom of the capsule. So we bought this new version at a higher price than before, literally a month later it had a crack in the weir on the left side of the base which surprised me a lot as it was so new. We contacted Revain, they told us that if it was more than 30 days we would need to contact West Bend customer service. Then we're done. And it was very painful to find the customer service phone number. So we emailed customer support, whose email address is much easier to find. We received a response that they would contact us in a week, which turned out to be 2 weeks without hearing anything. So we tried a number that didn't look like West Bend's customer service number and waited 40 minutes but no one answered. So the second time we tried the call back option and finally someone called us back. The rep was nice and after noticing the problem said he would replace the order as it was still under warranty. So he ordered us to cut our cable to ensure the base was no longer usable, which we did. After asking for my name and address, he asked for my credit card number. I wondered why he asked for my credit card number. He said it was for the shipping and handling fee, which is $14. I overheard him talking about $14 during the conversation, not sure because of the accent or not hearing clearly, I always thought it was covered up. I refused to pay the commission as it was literally over 30 days ago and we had already paid 50 for it, I wouldn't want to pay another 14 dollars, it was very unfair. If I had used it for a year and it ripped I would have paid for it but it was clearly in brand new condition. The representative was more than happy to refuse the charge as we had already cut the cord and had nothing else to use. The new one arrived the following weekend, the first thing we noticed was a "crok-crok" noise when it was working, the noise was quite annoying. But I decided not to call them anymore because every time it broke the representative told me that I have to pay the shipping costs in the future, if it breaks soon I won't spend a penny on such a junk product . It was like a scam when they sent you an item and it broke on the 31st day, you paid them $14, they sent you a refurbished item, then it broke again, you paid again to get another refurbished one get, and again waiting to break out. Thankfully, the annoying noise went away after 2 weeks, which we found to be good. Today is literally another 35 days since the arrival of the new one. Standing brand new this morning, I hear "crock-croc", 2 noises, turned around, saw a large crack on the right side of the base. WHAT PRODUCT, WHAT TIME AND WHAT A SCAM! Luckily it hadn't torn on the same side as the first one or they would have thought I forged it. I've attached pictures of the first broken one and the second broken one for everyone to see. DO NOT BUY THIS! I would not treat her again!
