Review on Screwdriver Electronics Klein Tools 32581 by Andrew Carrao

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A pinless screwdriver is not a screwdriver at all.

4-in-1 Electronic Screwdriver, Swivel Head with Swivel Cap, Industrial Quality Bits, Klein Tools 32581 First things first. I am a HUGE fan and use Klein tools every day. Working in industrial automation/electrical engineering is demanding and requires a good tool set. Finding another tool that matches or even comes close to the quality offered by Klein would be difficult. So yes, I love Klein. You could even call me a fanatic. However, I have to give the 4-in-1 twist cap screwdriver three stars as it's less wow and more meh. The tool itself is well built and the bits have an industrial feel as advertised. However, the tips don't stay where they should and fall out easily. The first day I carried this tool I managed to lose the larger of the two attachments that came with it, and within a week the other. Not sure if this is an issue with the internal dimensions of the screwdriver shaft, the poor design of the locking ball/spring on the tip itself, or a combination of both. However, I did not expect or consider that bits would be considered consumable/spare for such a small screwdriver. Benefits: 4-in-1, lightens the load of a pocket or tool bag. Well made shank, body, handle and screwdriver head. Comfortable and easy to hold. Cons: Screwdriver tips don't stay in place, fall out, and are easily lost. Tip: Stay away and stick to a basic set of screwdrivers. Yes, you may have to carry more, but you are much less likely to lose them.
