I brew all kinds of tea including green, black, oolong, pu-erh. I usually avoid plastic parts in a kettle. There are no plastic parts in this teapot, the temperature control function is perfect when I brew green tea that needs 85℃ water. This is probably the cheapest with a temperature control feature. Although the instructions say the capacity is between 0.5 liter and 1.0 liter, I often add about 1.5 liters of water and it boils water with no problem. I like it very much, I am planning to buy a second one for making tea in my office.
