I have a 15.6 inch portable flat panel display with a bulky cover and frame. Everything is fine in the horizontal position, but finding a stand for a portable monitor was not easy. clumsy or just not strong enough to hold the monitor upright. I use my portable monitor as a second screen for work (Word, Excel, Browser, etc.). I also like to use it as an easy way to play some of my Switch games in "Tate" (Japanese for "vertical orientation") mode. ). This is the only real way to play classic arcade games, especially shooting games. So imagine my delight when I found this stand. Not only is it sturdy and foldable, it also holds my portable monitor at a variety of angles. Other stands may seem similar, but this is one of the few I've found that includes about 3 additional angles to keep it upright. as well as all silicone pads not included in other categories to avoid scratches on tables and monitors/tablets themselves.
