It works fine. Once mounted it is stable but could be a bit wider. There is also a problem when you try to move it. Lifting it up will loosen the places where the legs fit into the retaining slots, so you'll need to make sure it's in place when you put it back down. I bought this to hold a portable monitor (about the thickness of my tablet) when traveling so I can use dual screens when working out. It's perfect. It folds easily and is very compact. It has a good storage box, very light but durable. Adjustable for different screen sizes and different viewing angles.
