My first cat and all I want from him is not to jump on my kitchen countertop. I tried water sprays and was on top of him but he still jumped in further because he knew it was against the rules. Well, this rug did it. He jumped at it once, stared at me in horror and jumped off. That was a week ago, and no attempts since! :) I had it on medium settings with sound!

The product worked perfectly. Great deterrent to keep our cat away from the glass surface under the wall mounted flat screen. After trying different ways to keep your cat from jumping onto a glass table and scratching at a flat screen TV, we bought an exercise mat. After two failed attempts on our precious ball of fur, the flat screen TV was safe from unwanted paws.

Works well and keeps our 7 cats and 3 dogs off the furniture at night while we sleep. After a while they don't even need the batteries because they learn not to even go near the mats. It does not harm animals, I tested it on myself, it surprises you but it does not harm. If you have multiple animals and want to protect furniture and clean clothes waiting to be folded then this is a must have.

Very effective in deterring your pet from touching your furniture. My dog could get over other devices or pull them off the couch but not with this one! It has multiple settings to customize it for pet training. Now all I have to do is tune it to the sound because when my animal hears it, it understands that this is a danger signal. This article is such a relief. It took me years to finally find something that actually works! My furniture is without fur!

I was very skeptical about this. I opened it and put my hand on it. I thought I couldn't. We adopted a long-legged, very curious puppy. This young dude cleans the countertops every time you turn your bench over. I bought 3 of these and put them on the cabinets and also put some "bait" on the back of the rugs. My jewelry, mail and bait will still be there when we return home. I have to put small pieces of tape around the corners to secure them in place. I tested them on my hand. They don't hurt to touch, but you'll know you've been hit.

This product has a good design but does not work for my dog. I bought two of these to stop my little "Roxy" butter thief. I usually clear the table but I have two teenage children who are bound to miss something during the week. And Roxy is smart enough to never jump on a table when I'm within earshot. So I put some oil (one of her favorite products) in there to see if the rugs worked. Vain. Eventually I bought a trail camera to see what's going on. Of course, she just walks past the mats…
