This product has a good design but does not work for my dog. I bought two of these to stop my little "Roxy" butter thief. I usually clear the table but I have two teenage children who are bound to miss something during the week. And Roxy is smart enough to never jump on a table when I'm within earshot. So I put some oil (one of her favorite products) in there to see if the rugs worked. Vain. Eventually I bought a trail camera to see what's going on. Of course, she just walks past the mats quickly. The motion-activated camera captured the end. Roxy is smart enough never to jump on the table if she thinks I'm within earshot, and I can't go a week without the kids leaving something in our breakfast nook. The shock is in full force and the product does what it promises, but that doesn't stop them.
