Review on Mizuno Wave Sky 2 Women's Running Shoe by Jennifer Johnson

Two thumbs up from the superior arch support

I used to run long distances, but I took a leave of absence because of children. Anyway, I'm making progress again and have had to increase my height since my legs have grown with pregnancy. You see I went up a half size and these shoes are amazing. I'm 41 years old, I only run on asphalt and pavement and I've found that my shins are gone. The pillow is great. I also like plenty of room in the toe box to allow my feet to expand and breathe in the summer heat (Phoenix gets a little toasty). The toe box was roomy and allowed my toes to move safely without blisters. Also, now that I think about it, I didn't even have to run those guys. I've covered 20 miles and not a single callus while running in 85 degrees. I would call it a win. Also, I'm a pretty strong arch supporter and this shoe gives me good stability. I noticed less stress on the ilio-tibial group for the same mileage. It was an unexpected surprise, I expected to have to reduce my mileage to get here. I have the bright red/pink color and they are gorgeous. I know they're a bit flashy, but I think it's motivating to step out the door on some boring quarantine days. Overall I'm very satisfied and am considering buying a second pair to extend the life of this model in my running rotation. .
