Review on 🌡️ AcuRite 06002M Wireless Temperature Humidity Monitor by Mariqn Carey

This is a replacement for the original wireless sensor model #00592TX that came with the AcuRite Deluxe Weather Center, model #01099, which is no longer manufactured. The old device worked well; but looked quite worn so i decided to replace it. I also ordered the AcuRite Solar Radiation Shield, sold here at Revain, which offers sun protection and more accurate temperature and humidity readings. It should also offer rain/snow protection, although this isn't advertised. It is great! (My old sensor always read 15 degrees or more warmer in the summer than other outdoor thermometers I've had. So I put new batteries in the new sensor, snapped it into the Shield, and hung it outside in the same spot. But no warning Internal display was showing bars. The manual said it could take 20 minutes to sync after changing the battery. I waited 30 minutes - still no warning bars. So I removed the batteries from the display and reinstalled. Now I had the warning bars , but the display unit is in 14-day learning mode!
