I'm 5'2, 140 lbs. Bra 34B I usually wear trousers between sizes 4-8. I have a pear shaped body and also carry my weight on my butt and thighs. I ordered a medium size and it fits me perfectly. pretty much true to size. The top was a little big, which wasn't a problem, but it was too tight around the hips. This dress is very light but my body shows the outline of the panties/underwear underneath because it hugs my hips (especially in the back) so I sent it back. You could wear a petticoat under a skirt to plump up your bum and hide panty lines (which I usually do with an A-line dress) but I bought this dress to wear in hot weather and the petticoat is too bulky for the heat. This is a very cute dress. and I would suggest air drying for fear the dress would fall apart. I would treat him gently.
