My GSD puppy was still crying a bit when I would leave the room when she was in her crate at 12 weeks. I always put her to bed a half hour before I go to bed so I have a chance to clean everything. Her cries made terrible cleaning music, but I got this bed and put it inside her crate and the crying stopped. During the day I have it in her pen while I'm working from another room and I always find her on it when I check on her. It has already gone through the wash just fine and really puffs up in the dryer (low heat).
