After years of using my TM RCS (updated with Cubby HAL sensor) I thought it was time to buy a new kit with foot brakes (quite difficult, using the F/A -18°C on a carrier without them) and then I discovered that TM was making a new set. They're big, but I was surprised they're not heavier than they look - but they're heavy enough. I would recommend installing them on the simulator platform or cockpit if they need to stay in place. Adjustment is easy, once you've set the toe angle you're unlikely to need to re-adjust. I don't use Target, since DCS connects all devices I can use all axes in the game. (DirectX limitation) - They are quite sensitive and easy to adjust to suit your playstyle. I want TM to somehow cushion the pedals, if you move your feet away from them quickly they will pop down (so don't do that). It's expensive, but since my last RCS (updated with HAL) since 1993 and my HOTAS Cougar (also updated with HAL) has been running well since 2003, I haven't had any issues with TM products. I would recommend buying these if you can afford it and need the precision of a quality RCS.
