After checking stores and reading reviews I settled on the Aurora AU1060MA in white. My previous shredder was cross cut, but you could still read shredded pieces of paper, so I went with a micro cut. This machine is sleek, has a 6 gallon reservoir that pops out easily, and I love that it has a long window so you can see how full it is. Because the micro-crushed pieces are so small (e.g. grains of rice), it is impossible to tell what has been ground and it takes longer to fill the container. It rolls easily, has a modern look and is light in weight. I easily inserted nine sheets of paper stapled together; easily typed, quickly and silently torn. I read a review that mentioned using a plastic bag in the bin for easy disposal, but when I called Aurora customer service, the number on the shredder, I was told not to throw the bag in the bin , otherwise he could get in the way of the garbage. operation of the LED indicators and cause damage.
