The description is misleading
The description of this item is misleading. It says it works with a double, full, or queen-size mattress. But that doesn't work if you don't have a bed frame (and box spring). We have a queen size box spring mattress on the main metal frame. The problem is that there is no way to stop him from getting out of bed. It must be attached to the furniture frame or slatted frame under the mattress (no box spring). This won't work if you have a box spring that sits over the frame of the furniture as the rail itself isn't high enough. The build quality isn't bad, but be aware of the limitations of this item.
