First, HDMI and component cables smell of chemicals, so they should not be used. The player has this horrible smell on the pads on the bottom of the player but the rest of the player has no smell. To turn on the player, the remote control doesn't work and you have to press a button (one from the 60-70's) on the player to turn it on and off. The remote works, but the buttons are small, poorly placed and there is no total time display. The drawer is cheaply made and looks like it's about to break. All in all, if you're looking for a super cheap all-region turntable that works but is poorly constructed with smelly, toxic wires and gaskets, then this is the turntable for you. I'm not impressed and if I had known all these issues I would never have bought it. It's not worth my time and effort to send it back to the seller. I hope this helps you decide.
