Review on πŸŽ™οΈ InnoGear Desktop Microphone Stand, Upgraded Adjustable Table Mic Stand, Pack of 2 - Perfect for Blue Yeti Snowball Spark & Other Microphones! by Christopher Jackson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good quality for the price but with some compromises.

I was willing to pay more but this set of two mic stands had a black finish, cast iron base and the high range I was looking for. The quality is good for the price of $12.50 for the stand. The 5 inch iron bases have some weight and are well finished on top. The finish of all parts is nice and the height adjustment knob feels solid. I bought several 3/8 to 1/4 thread adapters so I can use any of these stands to hold a Raleno LED bulb. The tripods are stable for this purpose as long as I don't tilt the lights more than a little. 6" wide bases would be more versatile - I may attach these posts to a wider wood base in the future. The posts would also be sturdier if they had more than 4 foam "legs". Simply using 4 feet doesn't provide the benefit the round base stability in all directions. The main trade-offs are the width of the base (old school cast iron table stands have a base at least 6" and heavier) and the use of plastic threaded hardware such as a plastic lock nut on the top of each stand. as well as plastic threads and a Plastic thread adapters in the clamps for mic strong for threaded connections like this overall they will work for what i need fine for home use but they are lightweight and not suitable for commercial use.

Pros
  • Very fast delivery
Cons
  • Crumpled
