I bought it after falling in love with the trial version. It's not the same. The strips are too hard, much larger and difficult to use for face washing. The version in the test package is perfect. For this version I have to rub it into the other faceplate, I have to mix them somehow and soften the soap. It doesn't get any softer in my hands than the trial version. I've had it for 6 months now and it hasn't softened over time. It's frustrating, but it will get the job done. I'm still looking for the perfect face scrub. Although it's a ton of soap. I won't have to try another brand for a few years lol. You get your money's worth and agree to the need to be flexible to make it malleable.
