When you're hovering over your head with 4 EXPENSIVE 24 inch monitors in a family accessible space, SECURITY will go a long way. The base is incredibly strong, it's like magic (for such a small base). So most likely without incident. Another great thing is the flat base, it blends into the table and so you lose very little space in your workspace. Mainly because the keyboard sits perfectly on a flat surface. There was nothing difficult to set up, just follow the common sense instructions. The only problem I've found is "moving range!" If you want to move your monitors, this won't work for you: it's tricky and can kill the "strength" factor, which I applaud. Find your favorite setting and stick with it; no moving monitors. One final piece of advice for complete satisfaction: get an adjustable chair! When you look at the upper monitors, you immediately tense up your neck! Otherwise, put the least-viewed data on the top monitors and the most-used data on the bottom ones. If your viewing time exceeds even 10% of the time, even the best monitors will make your neck snap! Overall I am completely satisfied; The extra $70 spent (on this flat base model) was well worth it. I recommend it.
