I have shown you some pictures next to the regular power cord so you can see how small it is, but it is NOT QUIET even at the lowest speed. It's pretty loud for such a small fan. but it would be perfect in the bedroom. for white noise, but if you want him to sit next to you in LR while you watch TV, it can be a little annoying. But even on the lowest settings it creates some serious airflow and can really cool things down. The night light doesn't give off too much light but is a nice addition. I'm not quite sure yet if I'll let it. I wish it was QUIET like they claim (I have big fans that are way quieter than this little guy) because I keep it next to my chairs in my living room. The jury is not yet determined. But if you don't mind white noise, no matter how small, it will definitely cool things down. Oh, and it's not heavy, it's cheap plastic, but like I said, it'll definitely keep you cool. I think there are some trade-offs 😏 NOT silent and cooling 🤔 And as mentioned, the only power source will be a USB plug/cable, which will NOT fit directly into a regular outlet. We accidentally had a white Xtra adapter lying around from my iPad charger that worked great.
