I have had it for 3 weeks now. So far, so good. Can't comment on its reliability, but - it ticks all my boxes (cool mist is the main requirement of course): - large capacity - we need it for our family room - top fill - auto humidistat - nice night/day light (not too bright unlike many others) with the ability to turn off the course - essential oil - haven't tried this feature yet but it's there - modern design - white color The remote control is also a nice feature is appropriate for such a large humidifier. Of course you start looking for something that fits all of these traits and I'm not sure you can find anything. I actually needed a humidifier for the master bedroom - something similar but smaller (and cheaper) and I couldn't find one. I ended up buying the same one. After all, a large capacity is not a disadvantage. Even our family room easily runs 3 or more days on a single load thanks to this automatic humidity control - although it's not too cold outside yet so the heating is off most of the time. By the way, the humidity displayed is pretty close to what our other humidistats display.
