So close to an incredible value!
With today's electronics, I'm surprised there aren't cheaper active earmuffs. Caldwell and Walker offer budget options, among others. I was surprised to see them for $17 so I decided to give it a try. The insulation with the supplied VE foam eyelets was perfect. Unfortunately, background gain has two settings. Quiet, useless, can't hear anything. High is also useless, even normal conversation will be completely distorted. Reduce that to an acceptable level and you get incredible value. As long as he sits, he is useless at all costs.
