1. The part surrounding the foot (anything with the letter "N") feels cheap: a thin mesh is laid over an even thinner opaque fabric and looks like the t-shirt draped. over the leg; Anything that can hurt your bare foot is likely to hurt just as much in these boots. 2. All components of sneakers look glued (body with sole) or glued (any decor); there is a shiny uneven border (but) slightly around almost everything that indicates glue.3. If you wear orthotics, especially hard ones, your foot will not sit comfortably in them. If you lift your heel even 1/4 inch, your ankle will be above the intended height for the elasticated leg cup. I will definitely return them. Too bad, because there are a few things I like: the hole is a tight ring so the tongue doesn't slip back and forth; they are easy (but now I know why...); and I really like [d] the way they look. Damn.
