Bought this for my wife although I cook myself. she loves them The colored part of the handles is made of soft rubber, which makes them comfortable to use. The engraved dimension numbers are located on top of the stainless steel buttons and are very easy to read. The thickness of the measuring cups themselves is ideal, making them lightweight. I read in a review that they are cheaply made. Stainless steel doesn't have to be thick to be strong. These are great cups and spoons, and they're designed for measuring solids and liquids, not digging through mud. I hope this review helps those of you who are looking to buy new affordable measurement paraphernalia.
