The first machine I ordered was clearly either used or returned as the security seal was broken and the hardware was not properly packed in the box so I sent it back for a replacement . The second looked new with a security seal and in the correct packaging, but I couldn't get the computer or software to recognize it no matter what I tried (and I'm very good with computers), so I could only assume that it was defective. I also found it interesting that the hardware was branded differently each time, the first being Panasonic and the second being HP, both with fairly old build dates so I believe they were rebranded with old skins. I ended up ordering HAZYO (which shows up as Matsushita on my computer) and had absolutely no trouble installing it (as it shouldn't). Both computer and software programs recognized it without any problems.
