This a replacement for the one that never arrived. I wished I had requested for a full refund for them instead, and I purchased a total of 5 of these. 1 for my 84 year old mother, and 1 for each of her Home Aide.All 5 are completely useless because they do not function as they are advertised.After charging them, the 1st one worked like a charm. However, the other 4 did not.The alarm part worked, but IT WOULD NOT SHUT OFF.It must be like the MONKEY SEE, MONKEY DO, or the MURPHY'S LAW. Even the first 1 that worked acted like the rest, it would not shut off.I HAD TO HOLD ON TO THE ENTIRE UNIT UNDER A PILLOW FOR GOD KNOWS HOW LONG BEFORE IT WOULD SHUT OFF. AND I DID IT ON ALL 5 OF THEM WITH MY MOTHER AND HER HOME AIDES PRESENT.Now the company is making me do a song and dance to return. Got to print mailing labels for each and everyone of the defective items, box them and then bring them somewhere to return them.All this for $6 or $7 each instead of let me just drop them off at the neighborhood Whole Foods Market.DO NOT BUY THIS DEFECTIVE PRODUCT! PAY A LITTLE MORE OR WAIT FOR THE NEXT GENERATION TO COME OUT.
