Not for coccyx or coccyx pain
I have sciatica from bulging discs with coccyx pain. While the seat seemed to make the former easier, it only made the latter worse. It was a little scary because I got up from the seat and my tailbone suddenly lit up and just flared up badly. That has never happened to me. It seems that even if he tilts your pelvis, he can still use the carved tailbone. A split saddle with space in the middle, like Salli stools, is probably better for coccyx pain. I now use the wedge-shaped seat cushion again with the coccyx and sit bones left out.
