I ordered this for my home wood fired pizza oven which was built around a kettle shaped grill. I was looking for something that would help flip the pizza after it was detached from the square skin. I needed something to turn the pizza over as it was baking and I noticed that many restaurants used the smaller round shovel to lift and rotate the pizza to change direction towards the fire. You need something with a long handle so you don't end up in an oven heated to 900-1000 degrees! It's long enough to get the job done and works beautifully. There are many other round scrubs out there, and many of them are much more expensive. This reversible bowl had the price I was looking for.
