I asked, and the answer was simple, products with that designation are designed for businesses, are compatible with a wide range of operating systems and hardware, and offer extended product support not typically available for consumer products. Perhaps most intriguing is what they call an advance replacement - if you have a problem with your card, you can keep using it until a replacement is sent to you, so you don't have to be left with a broken computer for a few days or weeks . I know that owning a business can mean using resource-intensive software, needing consistent graphics performance, and expecting business computer components to likely be on 24/7 and in frequent use. But which one to choose? There are so many brands out there with so many specs that sound the same but fall short in terms of component quality, which can result in intermittent performance, not performing as expected, or premature failure. So the starting point for me is the ASUS brand. People who really know graphics cards rarely disagree that this company is a quality fanatic. After this solution, I found that reading what others are saying when it comes to others is not a big deal since there are so many variables. component in their computer system, what applications they use, how busy their computer is with applications, the list goes on... this is a product that I believe is the only way to know if it will work for you, is to get it and try it out in their systems for their unique purposes. The first piece of advice I think might be helpful when you're groggy and just don't know which one to choose is to look at the fine print above. Another heads up is just my fault - the card comes with a protective plastic pad on the contacts. I didn't see it and tried to put it in the motherboard. Hmm, doesn't fit in the slot. Hey don't make fun of me, at least I caught it before I tried to force it in.
