Review on DEPO 332-50013-370 Tailgate Handle Replacement (High-Quality Aftermarket Product, Not OEM) by Xiaomeng Chang

The product was of rather poor quality, didn't work properly. First I spent over 30 minutes trying to get the handle to sit straight and open/close like the OEM does, to no avail. Second, the safety value is very low. It's more of a "child lock" than an actual safety device. The fascia is very easy to remove, then all you have to do is remove the green and red clips, pull the locking bars and the tailgate will open. It only took me about 1 minute to bypass the lock with a regular flathead screwdriver without damaging the tailgate or the latch assembly. I'm pretty sure a thief can bypass that in about 30 seconds.
