Clip is strong but wobbly and will therefore tilt a little before finding its place. It's hard to explain, but I would expect the clip to hold the light and camera mounts in place without relying on weight. The phone holder holds the phone well, however the holder it is attached to falls under the weight of the phone. .so I had to lean it against something to keep it from moving all the time. This is the reason for the average or low rating. It would probably be better to use a tripod. I probably won't buy it again, but for the price it's ok.
