I love this stuff. My horse is a real pig who, if he can't find dirt to get up and anoint himself, makes a mess of. Yes. His hocks, ankles and cock were very nasty all the time. Where I live it's too cold in late fall, winter and early spring to wash my horse so I was looking for a product that would help me not hurt his coat. Show Shin has a reputation for drying hair with prolonged use so I didn't want to use it. I was at Equine Affaire looking for products that might help and decided to take advice from the Gypsy Vanner breed - they recommended Magic Sheen. I've been using it for three years now and it hasn't dried out my horse's mane or tail. Thanks to him, his tail can be combed out when I can't wash it, and that reduces the static on his mane. I also spray liberally on his hocks and ankles, and that's good too for reducing the amount of dirt that builds up there. It's an essential item in my makeup bag that I can't do without.
